Reverend Jacques Andre DeGraff has served on the pastoral staff at  Canaan Baptist Church in Harlem under the Reverend Wyatt Tee Walker, Pastor Emeritus since 1998; now under Reverend Dr. Thomas D. Johnson, Sr.

Rev. DeGraff is an active member of the One Hundred Black Men of New York, past Vice President, and a member of the founding chapter of the international organization.

Rev. DeGraff is a member of The Chamber. The mission of our Chamber is to improve the quality of life for all of our residents, as well as to develop and attract quality business and professional services.

Rev. DeGraff alongside the nation’s leading local Black church ministers focuses on strategies to address health disparities through the Black church. He serves with co-chairs Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Calvin O. Butts; and Senator Rev. Raphael Warnock who leads the initiative in Atlanta. learn more here. 

Rev. DeGraff is on the Board of Directors. The mission of The Urban Assembly is to advance students’ economic and social mobility by improving public education.
